About You:

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)

• Experience in practice, ideally with some exposure to accounts, tax, or advisory

• Strong communicator with a commercial mindset

• Comfortable managing deadlines and client expectations

• Keen to take on broader responsibility and progress within a supportive structure

Your New Role Will Include:

Always:

• Managing a portfolio of SME clients, with a focus on accounts preparation and compliance

• External audit

• Reviewing and finalising financial statements, tax computations, and management accounts

• Acting as a key contact for clients, offering clear, practical advice

• Supporting and mentoring junior team members

Often:

• Advising clients on process improvements, software, and commercial matters

• Reviewing VAT and personal/corporate tax filings

• Getting involved in business development conversations and internal planning meetings

Occasionally:

• Assisting with project work such as due diligence or cashflow forecasting

• Taking part in team training to further build your skills

Never:

• Working long hours for no reason

• Fighting over who last cleaned the kitchen
